Canterbury Sport Fishing Club
We hope you will enjoy sharing the interests and activities that form the basis of our club
The club was formed in 1999 by a group of like minded fishos and was called the Canterbury Game Fishing Club. The name was changed in 2005 to accommodate other forms of fishing and diving. Our prime objectives are to encourage safe fishing boating and diving whilst protecting the marine environment and conserving its stocks for future generations.
We are presently affiliated to the national bodies of the New Zealand Sport Fishing Council, the International Game Fish Association and also the NZ Recreational Fishing Council.
The info below gives a brief overview of the events and activities the club actively promotes for its members.
