Ahipara Gamefish Club

History

Our Club was formed in January 2006, and we are based at the bottom of Ninety Mile Beach in the Far North.  We have many keen Anglers; men, women and children who spend as much time as they possibly can on the water catching some great fish.  Kevin Griffiths was the founder of our Club having been fishing for many years.  He was keen to see the Club weighstation at Ginty Morroghs House on Korora Street (Wildcat Charters) put to good use.  It is a great meeting place with locals gathering with anticipation of Gamefish being weighed.
